The hybrid hot hatch has a lower suspension and larger 20-inch wheels. And the newest hatchback also got a special livery.
Urban Motors has refined the Volkswagen Golf GTE hybrid hot hatch with new tires, a lowering kit, and a custom wrap.
So the “charged” hatchback is “shod” in 20-inch wheels with sports tires and original gray-blue spokes. The brake calipers are painted bright blue, an unusual color after the traditional red.
Thanks to the suspension lowering kit, the tuners managed to reduce the car’s ground clearance by 4.5 centimeters at both ends. Due to this, the hatchback’s handling has improved.
They did not touch the technical stuffing. The car is equipped with a traditional 147-horsepower 1.4-liter turbo engine, 112-horsepower electric motor, 13 kWh battery, and 6-speed automatic transmission with dual-clutch. The total power of the hybrid power plant reaches 242 hp.
Up to a hundred hot hatch will accelerate in 6.7 seconds, and its top speed is 225 km / h. On one electric traction, the hybrid will travel about 60 kilometers.
Meanwhile, tuning studio Manhart has worked on the BMW M2 CS coupe. After visiting the workshops of the company, the car became more powerful and got a racing livery.
